Fast Focus

Fast Focus Devices allow acquisition at various depths through a sample.

A Fast Focus Device is driven by a controller that accepts an analog position command signal and returns an analog position feedback signal. This allows tight synchronization between the FastZ device and a ScanImage® acquisition, and therefore allows the acquisition of fast Z stacks.

For information on how ScanImage® uses Fast Focus Devices, see Volume Imaging - Fast Stacks.
